My colleague’s husband told my colleague, “You have to read this book, “The Go-Giver”, it is the best book ever. You have to read it!”.
I was intrigued about what this The Go-Giver is talking about, so I got a copy for myself.
The Go-Giver is a short story that illustrates The Five Laws of Strato-Spheric Success:
The Law of Value: Your true worth is determined by how much more you give in value than you take in payment.
The Law of Compensation: Your income is determined by how many people you serve and how well you serve them.
The Law of Influence: Your influence is determined by how abundantly you place other people’s interests first.
The Law of Authenticity: The most valuable gift you have to offer is yourself.
The Law of Receptivity: The key to effective giving is to stay open to receiving.
If you think about it, these are actually all very basic principles. The Go-Giver puts it in a story format that makes it easier for people to understand.
Now I just have to figure out how to apple these laws into my own life to get strato-pheric success in my life.
